      Pros

      - Strong culture that supports employees and creates a positive work environment. Not in the least hostile. - Make good money while doing good for the environment and saving people money! Can't beat that combination of value -

      Cons

      - No 401-k matching for sales jobs (not sure about other corporate jobs) - Equity plans are not traditional. In order to gain equity as a sales person you must sell above quotas consistently for a year or recruit other sales people. Managers do have equity vesting of periods of time working but this is dwindling as the company grows.

      Pros

      SolarCity gives its employees a lot of trust. Work hard and hit your numbers they will support you every step of the way. Your co-workers are your teammates. Easy to reach out to any of them and management for help. You feel good about the products you sell because you are saving the customer money, giving them control over energy costs, and increasing their homes re-sell value. Car, cell-phone, laptop, medical, dental, vision, 401k, stock options, bonuses, BBQ's, vacations, etc.

      Cons

      Time management is a priority. Because you are given so much trust it is easy to fall behind. Must be self-motivated. You are on salary and always on call. Company is growing really fast and things are always changing.

      FES is a starter position, the moment you get the job you have to be looking forward to the next position you want to get
