      I must be missing something

      Pros

      Solar practically sells itself now.

      Cons

      I did not accept the offer for Field Energy Consultant. Offered $30K base and $500 for sale of Co lead and $1000 for ones I generate. This might be good $ for a high school grad but I got the impression half your time was spent selling the other half was spent trying to keep people from cancelling because it can take 6 months to get it installed, (and you don't get paid until it does). I'm amazed by so many glowing company reviews. It is solar power, not curing cancer. I think they ride too much on Elon Musk's reputation and his ability to walk on water.

      Great Company Great Idea Great Technology Overall Great learning experience Teaches great interpersonal skills

      Cons

      Too much micromanagement in the outside sales sector Expectations exceed reasonable possibilities for performance Very low pay and incentives (commission) for the Field Energy Specialists who clearly have the hardest job. They don't event earn 0.5% of each closed won which is just wrong.

      Pros

      Great mission, the executives of the company are great people and doing a lot of good, great benefits, if you can get going, it's a great place to work

      Cons

      Lots of miscommunication, not much direction, and not patient, the training is very patchwork, hearts are in the right place but you know what they say about good intentions
