Solarwinds had always been built on mutual trust and open communication. Big changes were always discussed prior to executing them, execs cared about ICs' feedback. Everybody wanted to improve and the door were always open for that. That is, before the CEO and leadership change.
The years of trust building between executive and the rest of the company went down the gutter right after hiring the new CPO, whose competence is at least disputable, but mainly his style of communication and "execution" is simply appaling. Unpopular changes were made and his lack of explanation (or simple denial) have been making it even worse. Top talent have either left or leaving, most of the original upper management is already gone and 1st line management group is falling apart. ICs are only held by the camaraderie and (vanishing) sense of ownership. The Krakow office is past the point of no return, Brno office will most likely follow. Very little replacement positions are being open in Europe, indicating that the leadership does not care about keeping the offices contrary to what they are saying.
