Pros

This company has been around for 25 years. Sometimes, this can result in established ways of working that have been effective for a long time but are no longer as successful. With the new CMO and some new middle managers joining this year, we have gained valuable experience and knowledge in important positions we've needed, which is good for our future and ability to execute. We are beginning to test new ways of working, eliminating outdated processes, and are encouraged to challenge the existing practices. I am noticing increased collaboration each week and a strengthening of teams. Although there are still challenges (changing long-ingrained practices takes time and effort), we are starting to see a clearer path forward.

Cons

SolarWinds is currently going through a period of evolution, and change can be difficult for some people. It requires flexibility and the willingness to tackle very tough challenges in completely new ways. This may not be comfortable for everyone, and that's okay. There are still additional changes we need that will really unblock many teams and finally let us run. We have some of the best products on the market, and we need to continue challenging the status quo and pushing ourselves to defend our position in the market and push ourselves into a whole new future.

Pros

People. The sales engineers are amazing

Cons

Working for a two manager division of crooked people is interesting. One of them was praised to be a top performer. But she achieved this by stealing accounts from someone else to get her to the one million number in the fiscal and putting her face on the wall. Her manager whom she’s close with approved all of this unethical behavior. When their unethical behavior was brought up to their attention they did everything to fire the girl that file the complaint. They are unethical and having them pair up they just cover their tracks everytime. There’s a lot those two did and are doing that is unethical, illegal and toxic. This company does not operate ethically and they kept other people who are not minorities and did fake dials to pizza places to meet their dialing goal. Which should call for an hr action. They did not care cause they belonged to the non minority class like them.
