Pros

Lots of learning opportunities, free lunches at corporate office, decent benefits.

Cons

Absolutely no work/life balance. Work past 8:00 pm most nights and almost every weekend. Your best is never good enough. Expectation to turn around a project that would normally take over an hour and expect it in less than 30 min. Very little direction...it's your job to figure out the 80 (Solera lingo) yet you are in trouble if you didn't figure out the correct 80.

Pros

None, none, none, none, and none!

Cons

Senior leadership is absolutely incompetent! No one on the Executive Leadership Team has the knowledge of how to run a business properly. All they know are KPIs and micro-management. There isn't a single leadership bone in any of their bodies. Solera is a failing company because of this. Employees leave this company in droves, as the outlandish and unobtainable quotas can never be reached. All teams run incredibly short-staffed, as no employee can make any commissions because they fail to adjust quotas to make it possible. Solera can't figure out how to bill current customers or pay current employees. Customers are frustrated with incorrect billing. Since client billing is incorrect, Solera can't even figure out how to pay employees correctly. Quite frankly, they may be on the verge of committing Federal Tax fraud. Solera's customers are also leaving in droves, as the software is antiquated and the company support staff quits constantly. In addition, few people within the company have the knowledge to help clients any longer. Solera is the very last company that employees should ever want to work for and the last company clients should sign in with. All of this is my opinion, and I could be wrong. But before you either become an employee or a client of this company, I encourage you to do your due diligence. Once you do your due diligence, there won't be a chance in hell that you will either work for this company or become a client of this company.

Pros

You’ll learn a lot, because you’ll be doing three people’s job at a mediocre salary

Cons

Daily degrading, gaslighting, and meaningless day to day activities because leadership has no intention of improving the company. Every time an executive speaks you’ll find another reason why they’re not worth your respect. You’ll be told you’re stupid for wanting work/life balance. You’ll be told employee concerns don’t matter and that anyone who leaves the company just isn’t good enough. Listening to leadership whine about sales but refuse to take any action that would lead to sales employees enjoying their lives here and performing better. Knowingly sacrifice the wellbeing of top performers for results and reward them with subpar promotions, if any promotion at all. Any employee below VP level are seen as scum to execs, they do not care about employees or what you do to make this company successful. They talk about people with disgust. Constant whining about recruiting efforts as if these reviews, terrible pay, and horrible culture is not what keeps talent away.
