Worse company ever

Pros

None, only worth mentioning some good colleagues surviving in the years. No many left, most have been replaced by "yes man".

Cons

I do not know from where to start. Horrible company ever, they will ask you to work weekends, bank holidays, while on vacation. You will need to work 15 hours a day and that will be expected. Keep firing people. You are survivor if you make the first year. They are arrogant cowboys lead by horrible people. I will recommend to join this company only if you are unemployed, never leave a job for this company you will be dismissed soon. Issues are in USA as well as the ROW, Europe is suffering also due to ELT totally made by incompetent people. New CFO ... will destroy and rebuild but will not stay long enough to finish then a new cowboy will come and will do the same. STAY AWAY FROM SOLERA!!!! This is my best advice. If the fire you take it as a bless, your life will be terrific out of Solera!!!

Pros

Fully remote, unlimited PTO, that’s it

Cons

Toxic upper management, overworked, understaffed, favoritism, no job support, low pay, raises constantly pushed back, micromanagement, they want yes-men.

Pros

Hires freshers(new graduates) but thinks of them equivalent to a highly experienced professional but pays fresher salary only.

Cons

Fires thousands of people heartlessly over a single teams call. Doesn't give any increment to loyal employees who have worked for multiple years. Doesn't give variable pay as promised in employment contract even after 1 year of due date of payment. Always hires new people without trying to retain old employees and causes tremendous pressure on new employees because of almost no knowledge transfer but expecting new employee knows everything about the systems. Pathetic legacy systems. Never tries to fix legacy issues and keeps building new things on top of broken legacy systems. There is no transparency. Even smallest of decisions come from CEO level only. Even N-1 level people dont know what is happening or what will happen in the company. If one is joining with 5 years of experience or more then be prepared to get fully loaded for all work like you are the whole and soul of a project but dont expect any increment or monetary benefit for the extra work that you would do. This company is for below average people only.
