Pros

I never witnessed any pros to being an employee at Solera.

Cons

Worked with a company for over 10 years and we had a great team, product and work life. Solera purchased the company, layed off several departments and did not have a plan in place which negatively impacted our team, our customers and our product. Zero assistance from management. Was very sad to see the employees treated in such a manner. Solera has proved time and time again that no matter how good a company is, it can easily be ruined.

Pros

Every time the CHRO talks I felt like I am in a standup comedy :), and the best part is that she doesn't even understand that everyone think she is a joke...I guess stupidity is bliss.

Cons

CHRO with zero HR or business experience....Vista pay attention! She is your person and if I were any Board member I would have taken the time to do a deep culture check. In addition, I would evaluate the attrition, ask to see exit interviews and talk to SLT, and directors level.

Pros

With their extensive turnover, there is opportunity for rapid advancement. If they ever figure it out, which they eventually will once they get rid of current senior management/some ELT members, it could be a great company.

Cons

Bonuses/Raises, which are tiny to begin with, are often paid 6 months plus after year end. I only have line of site into one division but it has massive employee and customer churn. The products are stale and there is very little knowledge, vision to give the customer what they want. They expect you to work endless hours but don’t have the courtesy to recognize most peoples efforts, ever. As an MD, I’ve tried to institute change but the current leadership is too arrogant to even consider someone else’s opinion.
