Pros

Competitive salary but hardly compensates for the painful experience and lost time here.

Cons

Look at the reviews of its competitors: Mitchell and CCC are rated over 3 while Solera stands at 2 and continues to receive negative comments. The company culture is military-oriented, ruthless and bullying. Here uncompetent jerks get promoted by even more uncompetent jerks managers. Solera braises itself for bringing transparency to the motor claims management. Don't expect transparency within the company: you will not see an organization chart, people leave unnoticed, bonuses and promotions are only for the favorites. Revenue hasn't grown at double digit for several years. To keep its shareholders happy, management is cutting expenses meaning more layoff and no bonus or salary increase. Customers notice the high turnover and are unhappy. Employees moral is very low. High performers leave.

Pros

Snacks Co-workers rallied around each other to keep systems held together.

Cons

Top off everything, after quitting and thinking it was all over, I receive a letter saying that they were hacked through socially engineering and gave away many of the Solera employee's SSN's, W2's, addresses, etc. Google Solera Holdings Breach. Like many other reviews state, when someone leaves or is let go (usually the top employees) they consolidate their responsibilities onto you and expect you to perform those. I ended up with 4 full-time responsibilities. That was coupled with exec's reactive knee-jerk demands to push out a half-baked initiatives immediately, then yelling at you why it broke the systems.
