They bought Omnitracs, laid off every other key engineer, which led to even more people resigning. They're not bothering with filling now vacant positions, which means that those who are left have to work trice as hard for the same salary.

Since being acquired by Solera, employees are leaving in droves. Many are involuntary (as is expected following an acquisition), but many are voluntary due to the change in culture since the acquisition. Knowledge is being lost, and positions aren't being backfilled, so those left are under-resourced and don't have all the necessary information to perform their duties. I understand this trend shows no sign of changing.
