      Pros

      Large amount of responsibility and varied tasks. I was exposed to lots of different situations which have helped me to be a better engineer.

      Cons

      Some work became monotonous over an extended period of time, which wasn't what i'd hoped for and actually put me off going into an engineering career.

      Pros

      I love this company, the best I've ever worked for. I started as a temporary employee and very quickly moved into different responsibilities. My manager was able to bring me on permanently, and I am constantly commended on my performance. How well I perform is directly influenced by the environment at work, and I work well because I absolutely enjoy it here.

      Cons

      Noise in the plant is all, but Solvay can't help that. Also, corporate can go deaf and blind a lot - listen to your people. People rarely leave so finding a position in corporate/administration is difficult.
