Pros

Teams work closely together with little intervention from central or global teams. No issues with micromanagement. If you can own your processes and perform adequately you should like the company. Great 9% 401k match. Executive leaders are very approachable and differing opinions are welcome. No large headcount reduction initiatives that I know of.

Cons

Sometimes slow to give material raises when economy is in a bad spot. In general, people seem to be rewarded by waiting through it though. I have seen some people move up very fast so it is circumstantial.

Pros

I participated in three interviews for my position, and each one was a positive experience. It reinforced my belief that Solvay fosters an exceptional work culture. I noticed a strong sense of support among team members, regardless of their teams. The conversations felt more like discussions among colleagues rather than a formal job interview, which I truly enjoyed.

Cons

I don’t have any at the moment.
