      Pros

      Depending on the team: No micro-management and decent salary

      Cons

      Depending on the team: Some people in leadership shouldn't be in leadership. Some people still are still in the mindset of the 3M HIS culture. 3M HIS culture was ultra conservative and not forward thinking Leadership gives the impression that there's always a fire-drill, but I never see any smoke. Teams still work in silos. That's the 3M HIS culture I wrote about earlier. If I were a candidate, would wait until Solventum is at least a year old, April 1st 2025, before I thought about applying for any role.

      Pros

      I've worked here a couple months and so far all is going well. Great team. I like that leadership makes an effort to engage with people and have events to bring people together which is nice.

      Cons

      Very busy work environment with the transition from 3M to Solventum! Can be a very rewarding experience and management seems to be trying very hard to make everything manageable and help make everyone successful.
