Pros

There was nothing good about this living nightmare. The one star rating is only because it wouldn’t let me put zero.

Cons

From day one, they will make sure you understand that they view you as an expendable placeholder until you break and the next poor sap takes your place. They don’t just not reward experience and skill, they actively avoid it and punish the hard workers while rewarding incompetence. If you want to be treated like garbage and underpaid in exchange for working your fingers to the bone and dealing with dead bodies every day, this is the job for you!

Pros

Great benefits and several shifts to choose from: M-F 7am-3:30pm, M-F 3-11:30pm, M-F 11pm-7:30am, and when I worked there a Wednesday-Sunday 7am-3:30pm shift as well. Seems to be a lot of upward mobility within the company; I moved into a new position within a year. Benefits included health care, vision and dental, paid time off, 401(k), disability. Also the job itself is inspiring and you would be providing tissue grafts for a lot of people.

Cons

Not flexible when it comes to schedule; for example you can't come in at 7:30 and leave at 4 or skip lunch to leave early. Also the pay wasn't great. First shift was always coveted but 2nd and 3rd shifts seemed to be able to "get away with" more since the supervisors and company heads all worked during the day. They are very strict with time in/time out, etc., whereas other jobs I've worked understand that one day you may be a few minutes late and another you may be early. I never had a time issue but saw a lot of people get disciplined over what I would consider pretty minor things. Overall a good company to work for if you like a job where you punch in, do the same things day after day, punch out and leave your work at work.
