      it is fast-paced and the team is spread across the country. Not cons (both of those factors drew me to the company), but good to be aware of as you weight options

      Somatus Is Doing Great Work with a Great Team

      Pros

      - I joined the team in a completely remote role in December. Onboarding process was engaging, informative and inclusive - especially for someone many miles a way! - Teammates are committed to the company mission and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. - Leaders are very open to new ideas and want to find the best way to solve problems and improve outcomes. - Patient focus is strong and felt throughout all we do - even for teammates not in patient-facing roles. - Diversity in team make up is seen at all levels - all they way up to the executive suite. This is very refreshing. - Good benefits.

      Cons

      With rapid growth comes rapid change. This disruption can be felt at times. The teammates I work with are committed to establishing and implementing processes to mange change as effectively as possible. It will be a bumpy ride, but that's okay if we stay focused on our overall objectives.

      Transparency -- using the quote from one of my colleagues: "Most companies wrap themselves in tinfoil, Somatus wraps itself with saranwrap"!! From the CEO down, our company cultivates a culture where information flows freely amongst our teams, always communicating openly and honestly with our team members!

      Cons

      The unexpected burden of rapid growth --a lot of important information is buried under irrelevant information (emails). So much information to absorb on a daily basis, tough to absorb and understand where to go for answers. Please understand, any "con" is far outweighed by the people, our leadership, and the friendships I've built at Somatus!
