Pros

Progressive - They really have a handle on what is new and cutting edge ecommerce Communicative - Everyone has a voice. No matter if you're in the call center, in the marketing department, or in IT if you have an idea about something, there is someone who will hear you out. Fun - Never have I been with a company that is so fun. Everyone gets along. Lots of people go out to lunch with each other. There are no cliques.

Focus - There seems to be a lack of focus at times, because of all things that we're trying to accomplish

I love how genuinely "american dream" this company is. The CEO build it all by himself from the ground up, and he is still one of the most driven, inspiring, and hardworking people I've met. Same applies to all Sonic employees. You work hard - you will get rewarded. You care about your job, care about the success of the company, and take additional responsibility - you will get noticed. You walk an extra mile - you will have a lot of room and opportunities for growth and professional development. Couple more details: - Young, bright, friendly people - Start up kinda feeling, no politics, decisions are made quickly, communication is direct and straightforward - Raises and promotions depend on your performance - Regular recognition and appreciation of extra efforts and successful projects - Challenging, but interesting projects - Full benefits package, holiday parties and occasional free lunches

Cons

- Over the last couple years Sonic went thru some growing pains becoming a mid-size company. Some processes are still not ironed out yet, but a lot of improvements were made, and the company is moving in the right direction - In order to make mentioned improvements, some people had to go. It's always hard when that happens, but as long as you are professional, hardworking, and not-complacent - you'll be fine. - The company is very fast pace and agile. I personally like it, but it might be challenging if you are more into 9 to 5 jobs where you can get complacent
