      Great Company, Full Training, but...

      Pros

      I feel it's very easy to get hired if you're a customer service-focused applicant. Sonic prides itself on having better customer service than its much larger competitive ISPs. Schedule flexibility is definitely a plus, as well as full training for whatever position you take that is entry level--if it's not and you're qualified, there is still some training to supplement.

      Cons

      A lot of people say this but the pay is not great. I believe that in our area its hard to have a comparison, but based on industry standards, the pay is $5+/hour less than other companies. They also say there's a lot of room for growth but honestly there's not. They prioritize seniority over qualifications and hard work for internal applicants.

      Pros

      Great energy and great people growth is there it is just a bit slow.

      Cons

      Wish we had more opportunities to move up in the company... They don't have a great procedure to promote from within and foster better growth. Also the pay is okay wish base pay was about 20 percent higher.

      Pros

      Sonic is an awesome place to work. Coworkers are extremely friendly and helpful. It's nice to walk around the office and be greeted with smiles and positive energy. Dane is the most gracious CEO I've ever worked for. He truly cares about his employees and it shows. There are extremely knowledgeable people here that really know the industry and can help you learn more. You feel good every day helping customers that love Sonic and who choose it even when it's not the fastest speed available. Sonic is an alternative to the high prices and terrible service you get from the large ISP industry behemoths.

      Cons

      Growing pains. Sonic has had a lot of growth in the past few years, and there are negatives that go along with that. The location leaves few options for lunch. You really need a car or a steady form of transportation to get to work.
