Pros

Sonos takes an approach to transparency that most companies claim, but few can execute when push comes to shove. Sonos has evolved into a culture of diligent owners who understand the choices made in order to continue leading the industry. They champion and recognize good work with internal opportunities and continue to change the game.

Cons

Trust in employees as owners can sometimes prove risky with amount of freedom granted. On the other end of the spectrum for some departments, work/life balance is also often compromised during ramp-up times.

Pros

Smart people, great product, and open culture. Working environment is great.

Cons

1. Bad vision on product road-map. Not consistent in the definition of future projects. 2. Growth too fast, hired too many people in the past two years. 3. Managers are playing politics more than focusing on product development. 4. Spent too much in marketing with little return. 5. Revenue is dropping resulting in layoffs.
