      Pros

      They hire great people. The team I worked with was full of talent and creativity.

      Cons

      Talent gets lost in the bureaucracy, lack of sound processes and leadership. Sony was once a great brand, but is now a sinking ship. Tokyo is too rigid in its thinking and practices to pull out of the tailspin. As a company, they have failed to adapt to the pace, culture and wants of today's consumer electronics business and are paying for it dearly. Always playing catch up. This place is cutbacks and layoff city now.

      Pros

      Great people, great products, great learning experiences. The legacy of Sony electronics products are amazing and taking that journey with the company is challenging and creates opportunity to learn every day.

      Cons

      Sony Japan leadership is struggling to understand the ever changing and diverse global markets and how Sony can fit into that picture. Sony Japan product development is TOO SLOW for today's market. Sony Electronics US. sales and marketing has great people but is struggling due to leadership issues overseas and poor decision making.
