      Excellent company with product lines to be proud of, but bogged down by corporate structure

      Pros

      The company has a very wide range of products and services available, which means that the potential that you'll be contributing to the launch or sustainability of popular retail product is very high.

      Cons

      The company is big, slow and has very poor in-business communication - so it takes approval on many levels just to get anything accomplished. The corporate structure is very organized when it comes to management and executives, but at the average employee level there is little to no direction.

      The only reason to work for SONY would be if you have specific talents the company can utilize. This company has outsourced much of its business to outsiders (India) that you will hardly get noticed.

      Cons

      Outsourcing! Outsourcing! But then again, SONY is a Japanese company.
