      Sony is a great company but beware of Senior Management

      Pros

      Great employees, decent pay, the opportunity to learn many different functions and enhance your skill sets. Sony has awesome technology!

      Cons

      Senior Management holds their positions because of relationships they have with Japan NOT because they are qualified or educated. Many executive management level employees do not have an MBA. There is a lot of politics, backstabbing, and bullying from Senior Management which makes for a very stressful environment. Employee morale is extremely low.

      Pros

      A few nice people to work with, but those numbers are dwindling.

      Cons

      Terrible management. Lots of backstabbing, mean spirited behavior and awful morale. Most of the employees don't care about the company or their products. They're on a one way ride....downhill fast!

      Very siloed and inefficient. Long hours and hard work do not get you anywhere. Revenues are in a "free-fall". Marketing of products is non-existent.
