Pros

Sony is a great company and has many opportunities for advancement. Some one will always be leaving and you will be the next person who will be in line to thake his or her place. I think that another good thing about working for a large company such as sony is that they have great benefits. The envrionment is also very fun to work in. There will be numerous artists you will see evryday in the elevator or hallway. Also, the free CD's are an added perk. And it is not frown upon to have music blasting from your office.

Cons

You have to work your way up. I was overqualified for the Finance assistant position but would not have been able to take a higher paying position because everything at this company i s based on internal mobility and promotions.

Pros

It is a very relaxed environment given the nature of the music industry. You can listen to music, wear jeans (as long as you are presentable, of course!) I am very satisfied with the health insurance benefits. They've really been a blessing.

Cons

Because it is the music industry, the salary packages aren't as competitive as they could be, when compared to other companies with a similar structure. The assistant positions can be a little bit frustrating, professionally. A lot of times you feel looked over or that people don't recognize your full potential, which I think is an unfortunate and outdated attitude that has just carried over through the years.
