Cutting-edge technology, very intelligent and dedicated IT staff. When I was there, they were not afraid to spend money on hardware / software

Many IT departments are understaffed. Senior management likes to jump levels directly to the IT staffers, bypassing the management chain of command, leading to conflicts

Flexible schedule, vacation time, work independently with minimal supervision, very interesting industry to be apart of. Ops Coordinator is a great entry level position that can help beef up Excel skills.

Cons

Negative/toxic work environment, No opportunity for growth, Hard workers are blatantly taken advantage of without proper compensation, Poor pay/compensation, Terrible work/life balance, The company is comprised of two tiers (operations & interpreting) that often work against each other, Middle management is poor, Unfair practices
