Toxic Work Environment.

Pros

Depending on leadership, very flexible place to work. Remote work is very common. Free coffee and tea and quarterly catered lunches. Good, hardworking, pleasant people are hired so your day to day experience is nice. Pay is almost competitive. Benefits start upon hire. PTO is generous.

Cons

1. Completely manual processes 2. Lean administrative staff workforce This means an INCREDIBLY high workload and barely anyone is able to keep up. Turnover in the Tacoma office is insane, so the pile of work just gets shifted around. 2. Benefit sucks. 401K plan has a 5k cap, only get matched after 18 months and you only get the money 1x a year if you're employed 12/31 of the year before. High premiums and deductibles. And I mean this LITERALLY--- No structure, no training, no communication, barely raises, no room for growth or advancement, and no appreciation if you work in a supportive role (not doctor, nurses or field execs)

Pros

Salary is okay. That’s about it

Cons

Unsafe patient load. Rounding Patient load up to 25 daily acute patients on cardiac floor with no help. Incredibly bad if you want to provide good care. Sometimes had more patients than physicians with no oversight

We appreciate your feedback, and you are right, quality patient care is the most important. We are fortunate to have had nurse practitioners like you that care about your patients and the communities we serve. We will keep listening and improving.

Pros

Fast-paced, efficient, mission oriented. Truly changing healthcare nationwide by improving quality and lowering cost. Standard workflows, efficient processes both in the field and in central offices. And a fun, positive working environment.

Cons

Fast pace is not for everyone
