Good and Bad

Pros

Benefits are good, use what you need PTO at Director level and above. Upper managment responds to people in the field. Triads between operations, nursing and physican are productive ways to manage.

Cons

If your immediate supervisor is a micromanager it's almost impossible to function. Over the pandemic the message was "We're not laying people off." Reality was a lot of people were. They shouldn't have said it, if it wasn't true.

Pros

Some departments offer flexibility but it is dependant on the manager.

Cons

Expensive insurance, lack of culture, toxic leadership, and unethical pay practices. High turnover rate with little career advancement. It's all about who you know.

Pros

rarely have I encountered someone with Sound that is unpleasant. Their people really are genuine and good people with great intentions in the healthcare space. Wonderful work-life balance and a level of trust and celebration of wins within my team.

Cons

c-suite can occasionally come off as condescending to the business colleague side of the organization.
