      Pros

      I have worked in the healthcare industry for many years and companies always talk about helping employees succeed, but few actually deliver. Sound Physicians fosters an environment of success for employees - both clinical and non-clinical and that is rare to find. The culture is one of teamwork, integrity and respect and people really do strive to live by the core values. Work/life balance is very important in this company and management works hard to ensure that balance is maintained.

      As we continue to grow, it will be crucial to keep the lines of communication open.

      Pros

      Worked for Sound for little over 2 years and love working for Sound. Sound recognizes the accomplishments of their colleagues and shares the information each week! Teams or colleagues who are remote feel included as a part of the teams. As a physician with Sound you are able to spend time with patients and always encouraged to look at the whole patient experience. We have some of the most caring physicians I have worked with in my career!

      Cons

      Balancing the needs and wants of our hospital partners as they realize the value our physicians add to their locations. Our physicians and nurse practitioner are great to work with improving the overall patient care often leaving our hospital partners wanting more of our various areas of expertise.

      Pros

      I have worked for a number of major hospital systems, locums companies, and hospitalist management companies in various capacities. Sound is one of the most innovative and satisfying companies I've ever worked for, with a forward-thinking, change-embracing and warm company culture. Because of the companies explosive growth, there is ample opportunity for physicians for personal and professional growth. A frequent phrase heard around Sound is "work to live, not live to work"

      Cons

      Because of the growth, leadership takes on greater and greater responsibility. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but should be planned on if you are successful
