Nice people work here Free employee book sale and you get to meet authors

Cons

How much time do you have? The CEO is unstable and she has to be talked off a ledge of some kind daily. Her upper management knows it and even joke about it. They will tell her she is not the problem to make her feel better about herself. Everyone is overworked and most are underpaid. They hire more people to focus on sales and getting books to print as quickly as possible. But not to help ease the burden of the people who work there. They disguise toxicity as innovation. They do not care about your mental health, in fact people have left there to take care of their mental health. Books change lives alright, they cause PTSD after working here.

- Transparency of company standing/growth. - ALL departments are included in the meetings.

Cons

- HR is largely useless. There were 3 heads and 2 HR generalists while I was there. - Lack of management accountability. - Little to no support or belief in the lower-level employees. If you aren't management and go to HR with a problem, you won't get anywhere. They are NOT there to help you. If an upper-level employee says something bad about you, it WILL be believed without question.
