Pros

- Starting salary of 40k for admissions reps/recruiters. - Positive training experience with incredible training supervisor. - Overtime is sometimes available if you need more pay.

Cons

- Managers have no respect for employees. - HR only applies to new employees. Seasoned vets do whatever they want and get away with it, from sexual harassment to being truly cruel, abusive, and degrading to employees. - Many people who work here have criminal records. - HIGH turnover - The only employees who have worked there for a significant period of time are there because they make 6 figure incomes. They get paid extremely high salaries because the job used to be commission-based before the federal government changed that, ruling it unethical. However, employees at that period were "grandfathered" in to their current salaries. - I can't say enough negative things about this place. I would not wish this place on anyone. - Employees must follow "compliance" guidelines but are encouraged to basically trick" students into going to school so that South can rob them of their Pell funds and federal loans. - The graduation rate is practically nonexistent. - Students rarely finish more than one class. The goal is to get them to finish the first week of their second class, then they are financially responsive for both classes. - Cost per credit is $402, and each class is 4 credits. Outrageous!

Pros

The small building allowed for close parking and the small class/program sizes allowed for more meaningful interactions with students.

Cons

Where to start?... -Leadership seemed far more concerned with power and control than with the actual well-being and learning of the students. -Students and staff had conveniences removed one after another in an effort to save a few pennies. -Neither administration nor human resources would effectively (if at all) manage employee issues, creating a culture of apathy toward adhering to procedures or honest work practices.
