Pros

Competitive pay at a high cost: your mental health, so nothing!

Cons

Working as an Admissions Coordinator at Southeastern College was one of the most frustrating and disheartening experiences of my career. The management, from direct supervisors to the campus president, is completely incompetent and lacks any sense of professionalism or integrity. Horrible Management: There is absolutely no support or guidance from leadership. Expectations are unrealistic, and communication is inconsistent at best. Management is more concerned with micromanaging and pushing numbers than actually fostering a positive environment for employees or students, education costs are extremely high. Any concerns brought up are ignored or dismissed entirely. Toxic Work Environment: Favoritism runs rampant, and hard work goes unnoticed unless you're part of the inner circle. Instead of cultivating teamwork, management pits employees against each other, creating a stressful and demoralizing workplace. Turnover is extremely high because people either burn out or realize they deserve better. Leadership is a complete disaster. Instead of fostering a supportive work environment, they thrive on favoritism, gossip, and toxic micromanagement. There is zero accountability, and employees who voice concerns are either ignored or pushed out. The focus is solely on enrollment numbers, even if it means misleading students about their future prospects. They turn a blind eye to unethical behavior, fostering an environment where dishonesty and unprofessional conduct thrive.
