Pros

The health benefits are ok. The 401k is traditionally 6 percent.

Cons

Poor training Company promotes good work life balance, but exspects a lot of after hour work. Salesman are treated poorly and micromanaging is terrible there. You will have to do a report for everything you do, if you do not like tons of paperwork, this job is not for you. You have to watch all you commission checks closely. If you leave or get let go you better get a lawyer to get your money back.

Owner is a LIAR

Pros

Not many Pros. Current Tampa sales manager is a great guy. Problem is in the last 4 years there has been 4 different sales managers.

Cons

Owner is a LIAR, who rules with an iron fist. His managers are all too scared for their jobs to say anything so everyone walks around in fear. They push salesmen hard to sell used used instead of new because the profit margin is so much higher. But they have no integrity. Upper management tells you to sell a lift that they do not have. Simply refuse to tell the customer they year and hours on the equipment so when you sell it they have time to go to an auction to find one. Customer expects to have lift delivered in days when it takes weeks or months for them to find one. Meanwhile you have to string the customer along with lies or free rentals until they can find one. Owner offers bonuses on service contracts but takes years to pay you on those contracts/ or doesn't pay you at all if you push for actually getting paid you get fired. Sales staff and sales managers are in constant turnover. If you question management at all you are fired. If the owner simply doesn't like you, you get fired. If your commission gets too high you get fired so he doesn't have to pay you.

NOT WHAT IT SEEMS

Pros

The worker bee's are really great people. You will learn a lot about the industry. Benefits are good. Compensation is OK.

Cons

On the surface, this place will seem amazing, but that is very deceptive. Most of the senior level management is terrible (There are a few that are great though), change management is non- existent, and this company does not value nor appreciate their employees. You will be overwhelmed with work. When you go to your interview, ask about the retention rate. In my time at this company, I saw 18 people come and go... and I wasn't there near long enough to see that much turnover. There is a reason for that.
