Pros

- Colleagues. The best thing Sovos has going for them is the people they've hired and retained. Through all the change and growth I've seen over the last few years, my peers have been the people who have been most impactful to my learning and even challenging me and propelling my career. You won't agree with every leader, but Sovos has seemed to focus a lot lately on communicating intention behind change. - Clear core values & core purpose. Employees are bought in and use the core values in every day conversations. Core purpose is high shooting, but something everyone can relate to and make their own. - FUN! So many creative events and ways to get to know your peers outside your department. The people here even make the working part fun.

Cons

- If you don't like change, you wouldn't do well here. However, if you see change as opportunity, which the successful employees do, you might not see this as a con. It can be difficult to change something one day and then the next week be told a different direction, but leadership is open to new ideas which is what encourages change. It's GOOD change. - Sovos hires a lot of people who don't know what they want to do, but who have solid soft skills and fit the culture. This can lead to people being negative when they can't find their career path. My personal experience with these people is they aren't a good culture fit and often do better moving on to a much larger company with a longer history and one that doesn't change very often. I was someone who didn't know what I wanted to do, but sometimes it can be overwhelming listening to coworkers who take zero accountability for their own career progression.

Future growth and change

Pros

Opportunities for growth are endless, but you have to work hard and show that you want it. Each office has a fun and exciting culture and it differs between each office environment. The employees are very helpful and like to challenge thought processes and offer new ideas that impact the business. Not every company has those employees. The company is growing offices and product lines and that is exciting for the future. It seems like managers care about what their employees are looking for and what they want to move into position wise and thats nice to see Flexible PTO is super nice and some managers are more lenient on working from home sometimes.

Cons

Change and department movement can affect people in different ways. Sometimes management doesn't always communicate change in the best manner, emails don't always cut it.
