Pros

Fully remote is nice and the lower level management has always been good in my experience

Cons

Very little faith in upper management. Low pay and increased workloads/job complexity from what seem to be poorly conceived plans.

Thank you for your honest feedback. I’m glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience with your direct managers and that the flexibility of fully remote work has been a benefit. Both are important parts of how we aim to support our teams. I also want to acknowledge your concerns about upper management, compensation, and workload. Transformation is never without its challenges, and we recognize that change can create strain when not clearly aligned or communicated. Your perspective is a valuable reminder of the need to stay closely connected to how our decisions impact teams day to day. We’re committed to learning from feedback like yours as we refine our plans and continue building toward a stronger, more transparent future. Thank you again for being part of Sovos and for sharing your thoughts with us. Warm regards, Eva Krauss Chief Transformation Officer

Thank you for sharing your experience, and for the time and contributions you gave during your tenure with us. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the autonomy, benefits, and flexibility of remote work! Those remain important elements of how we aim to support our teams. We also want to acknowledge the concerns you raised around work/life balance, stress, trust in leadership, job security, and the shift in company culture. These are not taken lightly. Transitions in leadership and strategic direction can bring change, and we understand that this can impact how employees feel day-to-day. While some of these decisions were made to support the company’s long-term sustainability, we recognize that impact on culture and employee trust must be continuously addressed. We are actively working to rebuild alignment, create clearer communication, and prioritize listening across all levels of the organization by implementing focus groups and creating more open, honest, and direct communication to all of our team members. Feedback like yours helps guide that work, and we appreciate your honesty in sharing it. Wishing you continued success in your next chapter. - David Woodworth, Chief Financial Officer

Thank you for sharing your experience. While there is no perfect way to navigate workforce changes, we empathize with the challenges they bring and strive to provide meaningful support throughout the process. At Sovos, we prioritize supporting our employees through change by providing resources to help them move forward. During the transition you referenced, we provided advanced notice while allowing those impacted to remain actively employed, along with job search and networking sessions covering resume building, LinkedIn best practices, and other career tools that have been valuable for many employees. We also facilitated a meeting with our offshore partner to explore potential opportunities within their organization. These offerings may not have met your needs based on your feedback in this review. Clear communication is always a priority, and it sounds like we could have improved in a few places for you. This is important feedback as we recognize the importance of ensuring employees have the information, they need during these moments. I also appreciate the feedback regarding the structure of our support efforts. Our team worked hard to ensure that these sessions were well-prepared, informative, and genuinely helpful. Our priority was (and continues to be) providing meaningful assistance during times of transition. Thank you truly for your contributions to Sovos & our great team. Your feedback helps us improve how we support employees, and we remain committed to learning and evolving. We wish you the best in your next opportunity and encourage you to reach out to our HR team if you need any further support. Colleen Schlagel Chief Talent Officer
