I can tell you that 99% of the negative reviews are from the Product Development department, which has had a lot of changes. But the company as a whole is a great place with a lot of opportunity to learn new things and be given a lot of responsibility. It is a merit based company so you are rewarded for your work rather than your tenure. Things are very fast paced and there is always something new going on. The culture of the company is beginning to emerge and is becoming a fun place to work.

You work with smart people - at least 90%+ of the workforce is. It is so nice to work with competent people after working at previous jobs with people who were not only incompetent but arrogant. The people at Taxware want to solve problems and the focus, most of the time, is on finding solutions. In previous jobs the focus seemed to be more on sounding smart in a meeting and political BS. There may be political BS at Taxware too but I don't see it. The culture is one of accountability and results. I think this is a great place to learn and to grow.
