I was given a chance right out of community college to work at SpaceBound Solutions as a Systems Administrator. So many employers want 3-4 year of work history but I got in and was able to gain valuable experience in the IT field.

Cons

I lived on the east side so the commute was long

Pros

By showing initiative and working hard, you will advance in this company. New ideas are welcomed...but make sure that you have solid reasons to support your suggestions. Independent thinking is encouraged. CEO truly has an open-door policy and will accommodate your requests to meet (even before or after hours).

Cons

Small company so a few bad apples can certainly have an effect on office morale. A few toxic people have left (or will be leaving soon) and this is greatly improving the overall environment. Pay is once a month (but this is known prior to you being hired).
