Pros

You get to work with the smartest and most driven people in the planet in a unified goal of getting to Space, Mars, and beyond.

Cons

Not a very rewarding place to work, no recognition of efforts. Terrible work-life balance, and not for the reasons you'd think. Highly inefficient and ineffective use of resources. If management actually got suppliers and planners to do their job properly, the team would not need to do 60+ hours of work per week. It can easily be condensed to <50 hours, however no one wants to solve the inefficiency problem, just to throw more bodies and more hours on a product to get it delivered. Everyone's overwhelmed and over-worked to the point where there is no time to relax or recover. Management seemed to be picked not because of their experience in being good manages, but because of favoritism.

Pros

If you end up on a team that is a good fit for you, it can be a really enjoyable experience. The office is fun and is designed to make it to where you have no reason to leave once you get to work. You will collaborate with a lot of different teams where you will work with people from outside of your domain of expertise. Most teams let employees set their own hours and success is defined by production.

Cons

Since most employees set their own hours, it can be easy to work 50-60 hour weeks if you do not set realistic production goals with your team. Hours can get intense around important launch events, but it does return to normal after the sprint. If you end up on a team that doesn't align with your work-life balance or development style, you are going to have a significantly less enjoyable experience. Really vet the team your applying for during the interview and ask the current members about the team's work ethic and work-life balance!

Pros

Decent benefits, barista and FroYo. Employees that work hard and proud of their work.

Cons

A CEO with way too many lofty ideas and depends on others to figure it out. Projects ramp fast and burn out quickly. Poor to no planning leads to confusion and disgruntled workers.
