      Pros

      Very exciting mission and projects, extremely driven and motivated employees, positive culture, little bureaucracy, learn a ton

      Cons

      Work-life balance is not valued very much. According to Sr. management, SpaceX is "not for you" if you don't want to work >=50 hours a week.

      Pros

      The experience is up for grabs. If you have the aptitude, or most importantly drive, to get things done, then projects will keep coming your way. Everyone is willing to lend a hand - if you have a daunting problem just reach out to someone who knows the answer (someone here does).

      Cons

      Deadlines are very tight - Think of how long a project will realistically take and your deadline is roughly 60% of that time. Prepare to work 50 + hours a week.. Isn't necessarily bad, but I can see this being a roadblock for someone with a family.
