Stressful job, but great company

Pros

Great company to work for. 5 weeks of Paid Time Off. Health insurance, 401k, dental, and life insurance. After 6 months, you have a chance to work from home half of the week. Great culture and values. A lot of activities to boost morale, fun games, and free food almost weekly.

Cons

Pay was not enough for the high level of stress that is community management. People stay because the benefits are REALLY GOOD, but the pay is MEDIOCRE. Super stressful, always dealing with your community residents, HOA board members, and vendors. You're basically always on call, even on the weekends, in case of an emergency in your community.

Spectrum is absolutely amazing. We listen to our employees and are actively seeking ways to be the best in the business. The leadership team is very supportive and they believe in their employees. Spectrum is not a "normal" type of company. Spectrum is different. We are always seeking to create good. We want to empower our employees and develop their expertise. Spectrum is about promoting from within and being unstoppable finishers. The mindset of, there is nothing that can't be fixed, is one of our motto's. The office atmosphere is positive and the employees exude genuine joy. Everyone is willing to help one another without complaint and the ambiance is pure family. If this sounds too good to be true. It's not! We are truly an ODD company.
