Pros

So much promise and many talented employees. Free cable if you live in footprint. Benefits are good if you can figure them out.

Cons

Pay is low compared to competitors. many fear-based teams. Reorganizations are designed to drive away good employees. Complex, rigid rules for benefits.

Pros

So much potential! Imagine if the merger had gone down the other way; TWC acquiring Charter? What a different company new TWC would be. It is not too late. There are still good people and potential to turn the inevitable exit of talent around! Wake up! Good place to work if you want to be a robot and simply be told what to do. If you like politics, this is the place for you!

Cons

Top down decision making. Small product decisions need to be run up the management chain. Software development process is a flash back to processes before most of their employees were born. Remember waterfall? They have HUGE overhead. They focus on command and control org charts, not modern product development processes like Agile and SAFE. Months to accomplish activities that TWC accomplished in days. Instead of focusing on merging two companies, management focuses on being "all in". All in means you WILL be reporting Fiddler's Green. TWC wasn't centrally located and was able to develop a navigator on millions of STB boxes and IP clients. The second largest cable company in the country doesn't have their own STB video product running in their offices.
