Pros

Pay is good 40k/ year plus commission.

Cons

Don't know where to even start... with the merger pay is going to be less but commission higher. they say to manage your own hours (supposed to work 6 hours a day) like if you are managing your business.. lie. they actually want you working all day starting since morning till you 8pm every day and are asked to lie to the customer no matter what as long as you get a sale. and if you don't get a sale the supervisor humiliates you in front of the whole team. when you ask for help the supervisor is never there he gives you the runaround and just asks you to whatever the customer ask to lie to them (again). as per right now, they still owe me money form my commissions, vacations and referrals. i have not gotten anything because they don't answer my phone calls and HR said it's not there job to help me out. Payroll says to contact the supervisor and the supervisor is hiding brainwashing everyone to lie to customers and making the company look bad. This was in Compton, Ca. now they moved to Wilmington, Ca. they will also try to get rid of you first before you file accident complaints.

Pros

Now the #2 cable operator by size in US.

Cons

Old school management style: no jeans allowed, no work from home, must be co-located on-site with your boss; etc.

Pros

Charter is a great place to work - Great benefits, customer-focused, work-life balance. Compensation is comparable to the industry average.

Cons

All engineering operations will soon be relocated to the Denver area, so my tenure here is short-lived. As a result, the company is losing top talent to competing organizations, but the people in power must be confident that they will be able to backfill these roles in the desired central location.
