Pros

Good benefits and growing business. Always seem to be hiring and product is one of the best on the market.

Cons

Management is old school. Given your job is not customer facing you cannot work from home unless absolutely necessary or a pandemic is happening. Even so they will get you in the office as soon as possible. Working from home is not a perk here.

Pros

Many talented and hard-working employees

Cons

As a mega-corporation, Charter only cares about profits. It does not appreciate or listen to employees, and does not treat them with respect.

Keeps getting worse

Pros

Mostly free cable and internet. People are personally nice.

Cons

The culture is incredibly toxic and beuracratic. Everything you do will be mired in politics. Since the COVID pandemic, leadership's true colors have shown. If you can work remote, they will require a disability claim to allow it. Executive team is willing to bet people's lives without data or proof that being in the office makes you better at your job, they will risk your life on that belief. They compete with other telcos on pay, but have no will or desire to compete with Tech as a whole. Comp is very subpar. Stay away of you have any other options.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your concerns as we work together through these unprecedented times. As one of FEMA’s Community Lifeline sectors, our services are essential to hospitals, emergency first responders, government facilities, the news media and our communities to stay connected, help flatten the curve and protect the country. Making sure we deliver these vital communications while supporting our employees is our top priority. We are sorry your experience does not meet your expectations. We will continue to assess our structures and processes to create a high-quality experience for all Spectrum employees.
