Pros

Good insurance and benefits. Fee internet and cable services.

Cons

This could easily be a remote, work from home job and would resolve the issue oh having to live in Austin's crazy housing market. During the pandemic the majority of us worked from home and were able to effectively do our jobs. We are all now back in the office, yet there is not enough space for every one to sit and have their own desk. Covid and other viruses are still a thing and we are sharing desks and are not able be comfortable in your own space. This is unacceptable, working for a multi billion dollar company. Also the pay is very mixed. Some people getting paid way less than others doing the same job. You can go above and beyond working hard to do your best. But in reality the people who do the bear minimum are going to get the same meets expectations and same 3% raise every year. I have worked there 9 years and have always worked very hard but this year I realized I will only be putting in minimal effort, since my efforts go unnoticed.

Pros

Free cable, internet, and mobile discounts

Cons

If you’re an experienced recruiter be prepared to be held back significantly. There is not work life balance, work will pile up if you miss. The day you say yes to an offer, it’ll be an uphill battle. You don’t know what goes on with background, employment for entry level positions aren’t verified. Too many people use the ATS, and you’re expected to keep your mouth shut when issues arise. They’ll expect you to push out silly excel reports, while trying to recruit in a competitive job market. Recruit I’s work extremely hard just to not get a bonus. Minimal growth opportunities, and absolutely no remote work. You don’t even get a cell phone to help with recruiting efforts. Management is not open to new ideas, there is absolutely no negotiation salaries for the entry level positions, even if the candidates has experience! Management expects you to be there all the time, while vacation or make excuses to not come in. The structure of this company is very reductive and you will not learn anything! Management does not trust the recruiters they hire and they will use recruiters as a scapegoat when numbers aren’t met. who would want to work for a company with low pay, no remote work, high demand, and poor communication. Management will give you unfair performance reviews, they’ll chat amongst themselves about how they feel you mesh with others and spin it into your review, like you’re underperforming. Merit increases seem unfair when you feel you’ve worked extremely hard. 3 years of my career here and no promotion opportunities have come up, and I haven’t learned anything new. It’s time too look elsewhere

Pros

The company does offer training

Cons

Too many managers that do not do any work. You spend 50% of your day on Webex calls talking about what needs to be done- and not actually working on anything. Management spends about 80% of their time on Webex calls. And the other 20% they spend on putting together processes for their subordinates.
