      Toxic with high turnover.

      High pay and experimentation embraced.

      Cons

      Highly toxic and political environment. High turnover. Directors to SVPs cavalierly discuss people they let go and getting rid of broad swaths of people or whole departments. If you’re a contractor you will be expected to work overtime without claiming it on your timesheet. You’ll be given a workload that takes 50 - 60 hours of focused work to accomplish and be told you need to finish it in 40 hours. If you complain you’ll be let go. Dog eat dog mentality among some who are struggling to stay afloat. During the pandemic, employees were made to go into the office longer than any major company. Those who complained were fired.

      Pros

      Lower and middle management are effective at making staff feel comfortable, promoting professional development, and maximizing employees' unique skillsets. With today's need for bandwidth, entertainment, and general connectivity- the future is very bright for Spectrum. Paychecks arrive on time. Free water at office locations.

      Cons

      Outdated corporate culture. One-size-fits-some remote work policy, with mandatory office attendance even for positions which do not benefit from on-site presence. Archaic dress code. Poor non-monetary compensation. Siloisation inherent in corporations of a similar size which absorb other companies.

      Pros

      Charter has done an amazing job of revamping and driving the business to true success. Good business decisions.

      Cons

      In more senior roles its all about who you align with and not your skill set. If you love politics, making sure you are on the radar of those with influence, etc. this is the place for you. You will not survive on pure skill set and doing things well.
