Pros

Nice place to work, as long as you come in willing and ready to help customers then you'll love and enjoy work at Speedway. I was fortunate to meet some amazing people who turned into family.

Cons

My experience may be different. I was a nursing mother who just got back to my old job from maternity leave and had to deal with rude and disgusting remarks about pumping. It got the best of me so I gave up nursing my baby because of it all. I was young and had I known better i would've reported it.

Pros

I enjoyed most of the customers, especially the "regulars".

Cons

They hired too many new people for a brand new store being built. They broke us up between two different stores to train before the new store opened and there we're so many people working at one time there was nothing to do a lot of the time for our 25 hrs/wk. After the new store opened, it was less crowded but they cut our hours down to 5/wk. I guess they expected more people to quit by then. It was ridiculous. They had a hard time keeping managers too.

Pros

You meet a lot of different people. There was room to get a good amount of hours if you were intrested. Paid training.

Cons

Not enough pay for the amount of work it required and also very understaffed. Poor management and no advancement opportunities. No perks.
