Pros

SOME friendly customers and employees

Cons

-Odd hours (work 9-11pm one day and then 6am - 2pm the next day) -Unfair hours (will only get 20 hours a week while everyone else gets at least 30-50 hours) -Overload tasks on top of what needs to be done daily (usually can NOT accomplish and gets yelled at for "not trying") -Management will leave YOU to do the work (clean counters, make coffee, refill the machines, product rotation,ect...) WHILE attending to the register and if you don't see a customer waiting, management will scold you for not "watching the register" (management will be elsewhere not helping) -Most of the customers are VERY rude and can be very threatening -If you are 5 ft or below, you will NEED a step ladder for almost EVERYTHING (it is a pain to drag around) and will make you take out the BIG and HEAVY trash - Will not get days off when requested (must give a 2 week notice and it is still NOT guaranteed) -Will MAKE you work an extra shift when you do not want to especially on holidays (will get down your throat about it) -You get NO respect or special privileges (you can get a 22oz cup of ice water but that's about it) -NO breaks what so ever UNLESS you smoke -2 people on a shift (1 on 3rd) (so much to do, so little amount of people and time to do it) -Don't care about employee's safety and welfare (will make you drive in the dark when black ice is present and they won't care) -Management will make you work holidays just so that THEY can be with THEIR family(s) -Won't care if you get hurt on the job (will make you work while injured) -Doesn't care if you are sick, you STILL have to go into work (even on death bed, you HAVE to work) -NOT allowed music at ALL (some other stores have music and others do not) -Icy/snowy parking lot in winter -Usually do not get a good parking space, have to park by sign (fear of people hitting/damaging car) - If have to call in last minute because of an uncontrolled personal emergency, they wont care/understand, STILL have to come into work/will give you grief next time you come into work -Have to find time to eat snacks in between customers (which is rare) and if you get the chance, you have to eat in the back and STILL get the daily tasks done before the end of your shift. -If Foodstew, You have to restock the kitchen before you leave and still do all of YOUR daily tasks. If you do not have food out on time (even a few minutes late) because you had to restock the kitchen from the other food stew, management will scold you and tell you that you need to have the food ready and out on time and be "quicker about it NEXT time"

Terrible, do not work here

Pros

Pay checks are every week

Cons

Some of the managers are terrible. They treat you like you are less than dirt. Even when full time positions open they won't give you full time and when you ask for more hours they laugh. They don't want to give you the benefits that go with being full time. They will call you and tell you not to come in on a day you are scheduled the night before because they are giving your shift to a full time employee. So you stay up late planning to sleep in. Then they call you at 6am telling you they need you to come in right away. You tell them you can't, because you're running on a few hours of sleep. Then the next day you go in they write you up for it. They expect you to do everything. Even when the store is extremely busy and you can't leave the register most of the day they still expect you to do everything. There is no store manager at the one I worked at so nothing gets done Employees come in hung over, straight up drunk, or high. I've been offered drugs on more than one occasion by fellow employees. I can't imagine they do any kind of background checks on the people who work here. The people who come into work like this are full time. The only time I've missed worked was when I had a family member die and they treated me horribly, acting like I had inconvenienced them so much.
