Pros

Sperling is an excellent place to work if you’re looking to learn and grow in an environment that genuinely prioritizes employee well-being and professional development. Having worked at multiple global marketing agencies, I can confidently say I’ve never seen this level of teamwork and mutual understanding. The company is growing at an incredible pace, and leadership makes a real effort to ensure no one is left behind during that growth. I worked as a Marketing Manager and truly enjoyed the diverse client portfolio—from community health to tourism and transportation—which keeps the work interesting and impactful. The office itself is warm and welcoming, the team is consistently kind and supportive, and the location is very convenient—right near the commuter rail station with free parking for employees. Mike Sperling, the company president, goes out of his way to ensure employees feel valued and supported. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, everyone is treated with equal respect. He is genuinely kind and makes fostering a happy, growth-conducive environment a top priority.

Cons

The company is scaling very quickly, so you may find yourself juggling multiple projects at once. That said, for anyone who enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic marketing environment, this can actually be a positive rather than a drawback.

Pros

I have been in marketing for over 30 years, and Sperling is one of the best agencies where I have worked. The people are great, the work is top-notch, and the atmosphere is supportive and fun. Mike Sperling is one of the reasons why I enjoy coming into work every day. He genuinely cares about his employees and goes above and beyond to make sure that people are given everything they need to be happy and successful and is always ready to offer help and answer questions. Company benefits (including free parking and that dogs are allowed) and the office space are great!

Cons

Life at a marketing agency is very fast paced. You need to be able to handle a lot of projects and be nimble. This is not just at Sperling but at every agency. It's a way of life and makes every day different. Some people love it that way (like me) but some might not.
