Pros

- fun product and projects - motivated and smart team members - opportunities to be challenged and grow - ability to partner with various members across the org - unlimited PTO - Splice values their employees - fun events

Cons

- while opportunities are available, sometimes you really have to push for collaboration across teams - having to wear multiple hats may not be for everyone, but that's a byproduct of startup culture - there are times when the company's vision isn't very clear. LT is transparent but the message doesn't always land

Splice is one of the few places where you can build cutting-edge technology and feel like you’re actually empowering a global creative community. I joined to help shape the future of music creation, and it’s been even more meaningful and rewarding than I expected. We’re building tools that help musicians stay creative, not replace them. The mission around creator empowerment is real, and it shows in our product strategy and ethical approach to innovation. As a product leader, I’ve had the autonomy to define strategy, coach and grow strong teams, and implement systems that scale. Leadership supports experimentation, encourages bold thinking, and genuinely wants teams to lead from the ground up. Collaboration between product, design, and engineering is a core part of how we work, not an afterthought.

Cons

The company is scaling fast, so you’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and change. If you’re looking for rigid processes or top-down direction, Splice might not be for you.

Pros

Splice really considers employees feedback, and the leadership does their best to implement positive change. Just within a year I've seen a lot of growth and improvements on how we support each other at Splice. There are so many positive and passionate people who work here. We love music and we really love working with each other.

Cons

We're still a small company & sometimes we're limited by our size, but I know this will change as we continue to grow!
