Pros

I've never worked on something I'm so passionate about, and you can feel that across the team. This company is changing the lives of musicians and can become very culturally relevant. It manages to be a high growth startup with lots of potential and a music company that cares about the art form. I'm proud to work here and see a bright future ahead.

Cons

All the standard growing pains of a fast growing startup. New execs coming in with more experience that can help us be more mature. The company grew up a lot over the last year, some people had to go which was hard and left people upset. Don't get discouraged by the negative reviews on here, if you're super talented, love music and want to work in a respective and inclusive environment, I'd love to work with you.

Splice cares about creators

Pros

Splice thinks about music as an ecosystem - the folks work hard at creating revenue streams for its sound designers, artists, and musicians. This really does trickle down into the culture of the company and everyone's respect for the creative process.

Cons

It's a startup, so in some ways the company is learning to walk and run at the same time. In many ways, it's still laying the foundations for the employee experience.

Pros

Splice has a truly unique position in music that makes working here incredibly exciting. The team is passionate not only about the company's vision, but music as a whole (because most employees are creators themselves). Many other companies in the industry claim to be the artist's advocate, but in fact are always looking for new ways to exploit up-and-coming talent - Splice is the real deal. Everything the company does is in support of the creator and making music creation more accessible than ever before.

Cons

The company is still young, so there are the occasional growing pains around process and operations. Overall though it's impressive how smooth the company runs given how fast it's growing.
