Pros

Guaranteed hourly pay, continued education on men’s Haircutting and products, great starting place if you are new to the industry. Some owners offer health insurance

Cons

Would not recommend this company as a long term career goal. Usually long shifts standing in one spot with only a 30 minute lunch break and one 15 minute break. Long wait for customers which means nonstop haircuts for the employees. You’ll be making just a few dollars above minimum wage, and only 50 cents more if you’re an assistant manager and still expected to do more work including assisting employees who struggle with men’s cuts. This company fuels off of your performance numbers, they EXPECT you to hit every number... but you rarely will bonus unless you’re incredibly persuasive in selling products and the MVP shampoo service. If you don’t have that ability to sell, you will constantly be evaluated and coached until you do. I’ve seen franchise salons let people go because of this. It’s hard to move up with this company. You won’t make any real money unless you are a store Manager. Success checks are every quarter to make sure you are following every single franchise step. Doing hair isn’t supposed to feel robotic or like an assembly line. Little flexibility with scheduling. You will feel burnt out easily. Use this company as a learning experience not a career.

Thank you for the time you spent with us. Your feedback is valuable and will be shared with the appropriate party. Each store is owned and operated by a different franchisee, so experience differs by location. As a company, we do have processes in place to ensure that each team member and client receives a championship experience. Structure is in place to help individuals be successful. There is opportunity for each team member to be themselves. We value the differences each team member brings to the table. With that being said, communication is key. If processes and expectations are not clearly explained, I can see how it can come across the way you are experiencing it. Thank you again, for your valuable feedback. I wish you the best!
