      Can't take time off, poor management, rude clients and staff, too many discounts, going to another location for pointless classes

      Pros

      Higher hourly wage than competitors (at the time). That's about it. ONE salon manager (of the 6 I experienced at my location) was absolutely a phenomenal human being. The rest were too young OR too egotistical to be efficiently managing a salon.

      Cons

      Absolutely stupid uniform requirements (constantly mistaken for foot locker employee) no wage raises due to incentives and incentives very difficult to reach. Expect to work for hourly+ tips. Heavy emphasis on "5 point play" which feels oppressive, embarrassing and unnatural. Expect to be told you'll get rotating weekends off but never actually get this due to staffing problems.
