Don't do it

Pros

Young and fun energetic employees and management.

Cons

You are hired along with 10-25 other new hires and thrown to the sharks. After 6 months 25 new hires turns into 10. The rest were fired because of a PIP that was nearly impossible to overcome or quit because they couldn't take the hostile work environment along with the constant pressure to reach unattainable numbers. Also you will be fighting/competing with the person next to you in order to maintain your job. Once you are fired, they will give your carriers to someone who is already having success within the company to ensure they continue to succeed. THEY HIRE FOR YOU TO FAIL. But if you want to collect a paycheck for a few months and work Monday-Friday 8-5 everyday and sometimes on the weekend you are welcome to it.

Pros

The flexibility and environment can attract a person to want to work here.

Cons

There are too many times that there are problems that occur, and they do not get addressed. High turnover rate. Instead of looking at what causes the turnover, the resolution is just to hire more people. There is constant pressure that are put on the employees make the work environment stressful and unpleasant to work in. Management only seem to care about numbers and not the people that are working to get the numbers. It is almost a situation where you never do enough. It is a growing industry that requires more, but when it is at the expense of a person's mental well-being, sometimes that makes the person to not want to put forth the full effort. It is almost implied that you need to spend your every waking moment at work, to satisfy the wants of management, and that is not the case. Nobody wants to do that.

Pros

For the good things about Spot: I loved both my managers that I worked with! They made my experience great. You get free clothing.

Cons

For the Cons: with my experience there has been DRASTIC changes since I started a year ago, our expectations change every week, the margin goals that we have to attain are based off of their top ten performers and if you aren't the salesmen they are then you are doomed. The commission structure sounded great to me when I first came in and now I am realizing it is little money for the amount of output. The turnover rate is outrageous and nobody ever addresses it. They focus on recruiting kids right out of college who have a tenure span of less than a year. Spot need to learn how to keep their employees. They churn and burn through hiring classes of 100+ people and 20% of them stay until their 1 year.
