It is decent

Pros

Working under a great Manager and helpful bunch of coworkers. Flexibility to get leaves approved. Life-Work balance.

Cons

Salary-wise is not so great. The UI and issues with the software itself is quite a hassle especially when it comes to the same customer reporting it every night. Changes of higher workloads are not compensated with better pay.

Pros

The environment and culture of working are great. Colleagues and manager are supportive and understanding. Applying leaves are quite flexible.

Cons

The difference between base salary is pretty far. Especially between a new hire w similar past experience as mine. The do not provide optical and dental benefits. Not sure about retirement plan. I have not been notified for any of that.

Potential to be great.

Pros

Flexibility, ok benefits, non-micromanaged. There are opportunities for growth.

Cons

Pay could be better, Managaement lacks care for the little people. Desperate need of moral boosting for employees. Major overhaul to ongoing, on the job training. I said potential, yes but employees patience has run quite thin causing us to lose a lot of good people.

Springer-Miller Systems continues to communicate and invest in employee education and training from line staff all the way up to management. There are numerous avenues to take advantage of from online e-learning to formal, external courses and even diploma/degrees that are current or future job related. I'm not sure where the disconnect is as they opportunities are there and communicated formally at least every quarter but it's up to the employees to speak up and take ownership of their training and career development.
